How many engineers does it take to build an app that simplifies grocery shopping for users? At least 300, because that’s how many we have in our Engineering team, working from different countries in South and North America. The Engineering team is dedicated to producing intuitive technology for customers, shoppers and stores and solving challenges along the way.
In Cornershop by Uber we are looking for our nextCybersecurity Analystto join our Security Engineering SOC, helping us to protect, identify and respond to possible cyber threats through several tools and processes.
What will you do?- Correlation of data and events between the different Cornershop by Uber systems.
- Analyze and take pertinent actions based on the alerts generated by our monitoring systems, following the playbooks for each case.
- Triage incidents or external and internal reports, solving them or escalating to the corresponding teams.
- Propose improvements in Cornershop by Uber cybersecurity processes and metrics.
- Maintain order and be meticulous in recording incidents and reports using our incident management tools.
- Communicate in Spanish and English (hold a technical conversation in English).
What will you need to succeed in this role?- Some experience in Cybersecurity, in any of its disciplines (offensive, defensive, etc).
- Experience analyzing and identifying incidents using monitoring and analysis tools such as Elastic, Splunk, Metron or others (SIEM).

- You have experience being part of a SOC or in Cybersecurity Incident Management.
